Night in dublin, what to do?

Hi all,I will spend a week in dublin.
I will be alone cause I go for work and my company pays the travel.
But after 6.pm I will be free from work, so I wonder what to do.
I'm 27 yo, I like to dance or stay with friendly people.
Could you advise me a nice disco (not full of teenagers only;),
I'd like also a place where to stay till midnight, listening music, having good time, talking with people.
BTw Is it dangerous or strange for a girl to go alone in a disco-pub there?
it's my first time in Dublin, I don't know this place.

P.S my hotel is not far from Temple Bar

Ask some of the people you work with to recommend a place for you. You might find that some of them are actually willing to bring you to places - many are very welcoming that way.
