Are there any youth hostels or very low budget accommodation in Muscat, Oman?

I'm not looking for a hotel, I'm looking for a very basic, low price hostel or something

Try looking at www.tripadvisor.com for that country. I've used the site many times and if the information's out there - you'll find it!

Some of the ones listed here seem to be a very reasonable price but if you're looking for something even cheaper you might just have to look around when you get there.
