I'm going down to Brighton for the bank holiday weekend for a wedding - but my hotel doesn't offer parking!?

Does anyone know where, if anywhere, I can park from Saturday afternoon to Monday afternoon for free/very cheap?? Preferably without having to move the car every few hours?? May be asking a lot but you don't get what you don't ask for!! Thanks. Kirsty.

you can park in reigate road or millers road (look on map) for as long as you like, there are no parking restrictions yet.
its off dyke road, and its walking distance from your hotel or a cheap taxi ride.

trish u hit the nail on the head the royal albion is a crap hotel, not only that its situatedon the busiest part of the seafront there is very little parking round that area that is any longer than a couple of hours . the cost will be horrendous, even if ur able to find any on a bank holiday weekend. there is nothing i can think of within a reasonable distance the whole of the town centre is paid 2 or 4 hour parking tho i think there are some 11 hour spaces maybe further along towards the marina but not entirely sure. i live in brighton and would not take the car into the centre, the only thing i can think of is if u go up Edward Street (opp the pavilion) till u reach the gala bingo hall (white building) if u turn left there u get into an area which is unrestricted parking but its a good 20 min walk or bus ride back to the royal albion, thats the best i can think of sorry - hope someone else has some better ideas for u.

The Royal Albion is in a great position for exploring the interesting parts of Brighton on foot, why not leave the car at home and get the train? You may want a taxi to get your cases to the hotel, but otherwise you needn't use a car at all.

The multistory park at the Hospital is not to bad expense wise. With Brighton the further away from the lanes the cheaper it gets. The parking meters pay and Display are cheaper at the marena end of the front. It will be pretty busy this week end.

Parking is almost non existant in central Brighton; the local bus services are everywhere and frequent and the train from London Victoria to Brighton takes just 52 minutes and runs every 30 minutes
