How long does it take from London to go to Tahiti?

has anyone been to Tahiti, Bora Bora if yes then please would someone tell me is it expensive? how is the place like? i'm planing to go away with my boyfriend, Cant wait!

Yes, Tahiti and Bora Bora can be extremely expensive, depending on when you go. We went 2 years ago during August (their high season) and we paid $800 USD per night for an overwater bungalow in Bora Bora. I'm sure that with the junky economy right now there are lots of hotel specials going on.

Having said that, it's absolutely worth going, the islands are so beautiful. Since it'll be such a long trip for you guys, I think you should also visit some other islands in FP, like Moorea or Huahine.

We flew with Air Tahiti Nui and liked it a lot.

You will have to fly through Los Angeles from London (around 11h) and then to Papeete (08h30).

Regarding the price, it will depend on the season you are planning to travel but you can find pretty good deals these days...
