Hi - try looking on the Enjoy England website. There's a huge range of accommodation in the Brighton area.

You can find quality assessed hotels from £23 a night per person (including breakfast):

There's also some great guest-accommodation available starting at £20 a night per person:

New Madeira guest house is located on the seafront, close to the Lanes - fantastic shopping, bars and restaurants. Double rooms start at £45 a night:

Good luck with your search.

    Look at www.laterooms.com
They list lots of hotels and guest houses, along with photos, guest reviews, details of facilities provided and of course the prices.
You book on line, so you know straight away you have your beds for the night, but you do not actually pay until you have stayed.
I have used this web site before and have just booked a room in Brighton for the same weekend you are going. The rooms are going fast.
    Have a brilliant weekend.

it sure is expensive for hotel rooms in brighton.
    here is what i found:
i am listing the cheapest i found, i do not have time to research the quality of the property. i would recommend tripadviser.com for customer remarks and advice.
hotels.com $145/nt royal albion hotel, 35 old steine east sussex, brighton, bn1, gb 866-925-4160
orbitz.com - $161/nt royal albion hotel, 35 old steine east sussex, brighton, bn1, gb 866-925-4160
1800hotels.com - west beach, 135 kings road, brighton, east sussex, bn1 2hx united kingdom, $102/nt
booking.com - royal albion hotel, 35 old steine east sussex, brighton, bn1, gb 866-925-4160 219pounds? the funny looking L, includes breakfast that price can not be right that would be $359 absurdly high

    1 British pound = 1.6397 U.S. dollars
