I have one night in Kuala Lumpur on a stop over. What should I go and see, where should I eat?

It's the end of a holiday so it'll need to be easy and relaxing. A Japanese onsen would be fantastic but I guess I'll just have to settle on a hotel pool. But apart from that what would you suggest?

If money is no object, have a meal in Petronas Towers restaurant. Or if you like street food, try some satay or take a stroll along Chinatown (locals call it Chee Cheong Kai/Petaling St) and sample the food. At night, the street is cramped with hawkers and food stalls and is quite an experience. But hang on to your wallet/handbag and don't let down your guard. You will be badgered to sit down and eat but walk through the whole length first and have a good look before you decide. Bintang Walk is also interesting and more relaxing. Have a drink there at some cafe broadwalk.

Don't waste your time with a Vietnamese restaurant in Malaysia! If you want to eat Vietnamese, go to Hanoi. That restaurant is for Malaysians who can't get to Vietnam.

I recommend you stay at one of the hotel at Bukit Bintang area. If money is not a problem, you can stay at Westin Hotel or Grand Millellium Hotel. Or you're looking for just clean and cosy place to sleep, I recommend you stay at Coronade Hotel. From there, you can see a lot with just 1 night. If you check in at noon, you can go to any restaurant at Pavillion shopping centre. I recommend the Vietnam restaurant there. Other than that, try the chinese restaurant in Grand Millelium. They have an excellent Chinese chef. At night, try the food at Jalan Ah Lor. It's a must visit for food.

For shopping, there're quite a few shopping centre just walking distance. Pavillion, Lot10, Sungai Wang and BB Plaza. For foot massage, there's quite a few to choose from along the street of BB plaza.

    malaysian here.
I suggest asking around. You can go to a "mamak" stall it's like extremely good food but not very clean. It's also cheap.
Other than that you can goto The Twin Towers and find some rich *** food there. Clean tho.
