Cheap Apartment / B&B / Hotel in Cape Town?

Does anyone know of a cheap basic, but clean and safe place to stay in Cape Town in August 2010? I want to stay with my husband and 3 children who will be aged 6,8 & 10yrs old in either a family room or an apartment fairly close to V & A waterfront or Camps Bay area. Budget is £100 / ZAR 1,300 per night for a total of 3 nights.

Hi Pinkpea...

With your budget, you should get a reasonably nice place in the CBD...which is close to the VnA but not IN the VnA vicinity. You will have to have double or triple the budget for VnA.

http://capetown.hotelguide.co.za/ ...Here's a link to help. But I suggest contacting the hotels or apartments directly and not the agents (siyabona africa)...they are usually swamped with enquiries and not good at getting back to you. But all the information they have on the site is factual and all in one site :-) Hope it helps...

    Hello,

It's a good idea to book now as nice accomodations are going to be booked soon. If you are planning cheap family vacation, I advise you to check on www.voilacapetown.com/cheap-family-vacat… and on www.voilacapetown.com/cape-town-hotels.h…
