Staying one night in Singapore in November. Anyone have recent experience of good medium price hotel in convenient location?

IBIS is a good choice, around S$150 per night. Centrally located, walking distance to Bugis MRT station.

hotel that convenience must be on Orchard Road. but Orchard Road is quite long so some hotels might not nearby the shopping centre. anyway, i'd stayed in Marriott & Orchard Hotel b4. both in the middle of the shopping area and r v v convenience.

Orchard Hotel is in a very convenient place on the edge of the one way system.

You could check out the Victoria Hotel Singapore as well. It's a 5-minute walk to the City Hall MRT station and close to museums, shopping and cheap eateries.

check it in www.asiarooms.com and www.asiatravel.com you can compare the prices but i recommend you to stay in Orchard Road area. Great place.
