Off to Egypt in November for two weeks with my girlfriend. 1st week is a cruise from Sharm to Sharm, seeing...?

...the sights (Thompson Celebration Cruise Liner) and second week is in Sharm at the Iberotel Hotel.

As we have never been before are there any hint and tips yo can share to make the holiday more enjoyable?

your plan is great for a relaxing vacation.
my tips are as follows :
apply sunblock to the exposed parts of the body .
drink bottled water , lots of it .
go to Naama Bay in the evenings .
go to Hard Rock disco , Le Pacha , and try the various restaurants , the Lebanese , the Chinese , the Egyptian , the Greek restaurants , all in Naama Bay .

First Egypt is really nice busy country

Sharm El-Sheikh quite different than the rest of Egypt as it is a tourist city so no dress code as in Cairo or Luxor

i can assure you that you will find Egyptian very very friendly

While you are walking down in the town it is sure safe just you will get the hassle and bassle from shop keepers , Just people trying to be very nice very friendly like how are you & hoe is England and so on , just carry on in your way and ignore them in a nice way

Weather at this time is very nice midday about 28 to 30


The red sea is amazing for swimming and snorkeling

It is the 2nd salty sea in the world so please wash your body of the salt once you walk out of the water


Money : the best money to bring with you is the English money as the exchange rate is a lot better here , today roughly 9.1 Egyptian pounds to 1 English

maybe English coins will be good for tipping

so spend the two weeks in sharm and hurghada there you can find resorts and spa if you wanna to make your holiday more enjoyable you have to go to sharm and hurghada which you will find there scuba diving and great views and great resorts and alot of places to buy alot of things there really spend the holiday there is the best dor holiday and any one of your country and tourists know that well that shram and hurghada is so great

sharm is a typical tourist attraction but I dont think it has many historic attractions, such as the great pyramids, or the museum to see the ancient pharoahs as mummies..

Ive not been to sharm, but I aparently more open to tourists, but more expensive. You will find lots to do, ride camels, visit whatever attractions they have there, lounge by the pool, go haggle for some suveniors etc..

Sharm is a hot tourist spot but its fun there.. You can go to naamaa bay for clubbing if you like music & dancing, shopping, sheesha. I personally enjoyed going to the Old Market & Alf Leila Wa Leila.. umm during the day you can go Snorkling & Quad riding in the desert.. the quads are funnnnnn!

well u should go to Cairo which includes Cairo museum the pyramids a trip in the Nile
