i would like to go to greece(athens) from dubai.do i realy need to take a visa to enter athens?if someone knows please give soem details about the best and cheap hotels in athens/greece as well..also tell me some nice places i need to conver athnes/greece in 5 days..

Get information about Athen/Greece online or by visiting the Greece sections. You also might by a travel guide in any book store.
Visit a reputated travel agencie, which will provide you with a visa when booking a hotel through them. They also have details about certain hotels of their network. Otherwise you can ask hotel related questions also in the Greek section.

Enjoy the Greek food. It's delicious.

Yes you do need to get a visa.

Sorry to tell you that it could work out to be the most expensive part of your holiday.

The fact is, India is a poor country and the EEC countries do not want people from poor countries coming into their territory because they know from experience, once some one from a poor country arrives, they stay. Illegally even.

Sadly, you will have a tough time trying to take this holiday. I wish it was not true, but it is.00

Rather than posting a question here why don't you access the Greek Embassy website! That way you will get accurate information... and of course you will need a visa - the same way that Europeans require a visa to visit India or Dubai.
