What's the best way(without car) to get from Disney Port Orleans hotel to Seaworld/Universal studios Orlando?

I'm going to Orlando/Disney on holiday in September but won't be able to get a car hire - is there a way of getting from the Port Orleans Riverside Hotel to the non Disney theme parks -Uniersal studios and Sea World in particular, preferably on public transport?
Thanks.

Orlando does have the "Lynx" bus system. It is online, you can look it up. Or you can hire a cab or Mears. I have used Mears shuttles before, and they are good and more affordable than a cab. They are also online.

Having done it this was the way we found best;
1.Get Disney Transport to Magic Kingdom or Epcot.
2.Get monorail to Disney Transportation centre.
3.Get 50 Lynx bus to Sea World($2,exact change)-every 30 mins.
4.To get to US/IoA get I-Ride Tram(from same stop) to stop G7 ($1.25,exact change).

    The last two times we have been to Disney we have used the Mearts shuttle. The first time we used them we had no problems at all and it was great. The second time the driver ended up taking people who did not have reservations and left us and another family who did and yelled at us about it. However, we were given a complementary ride and they sent a taxi to take us to Universal and gave us a pass to get back on the bus later. I like mears because you can call them about 2 hours or an hour before you are ready to come home and they will put you on the list. I definitely suggest mears.

    Duuuude...I do this all the time. What ya wanna do is take the Disney bus to Downtown Disney, coz this is the closest, right on the edge of the resort and there's heaps of taxis there.

    Then take a taxi to Sea World or Universal Studios. Sea World will be the closest so never more than $10 to get there. Also from here u can then catch the i-ride tram up and down international drive and also a free bus runs from Sea World to Busch Gardens.

    Universal Studios is at the other end of International Drive so will cost a little more in a taxi, but it's always worked out cheaper than taking things like a Mears coach, so still worth catching the taxi from Downtown :)

    You have a couple of options...

    - Use a taxi or other similar service. Disney isn't really close to Universal/Sea World areas, so that could get expensive.

    - Use Orlando's Lynx bus system. There is a stop at Downtown Disney, so you'd easily be able to get there from Port Orleans (by bus or boat). Here's the Lynx site with all the stops: http://www.golynx.com/
