Romantic, but not expensive, weekend in Brighton?

I am looking for a very romantic bed and breakfast in Brighton that is by the pier. But not too expensive. Also, small romantic restaurants.

I am not into the 'contemporary' type of hotels. I like the old fashioned ones better. and i love small, dimly lit restaurants.

i know there has to be really quaint lovely bed and breakfasts that arent that expensive! but i cant find any! help!

I live in the Brigton area and would suggest staying in one of the rural country b&b's outside of the city.
You can commute into Brighton easily, Park and ride is the best invention for years!

brighton is expensive and near the pier is both expensive and u wont find small romantic b&bs. not sure if there are any romantic ones on brighton seafront. there are some tho. try looking on lastminute.com and there u can find lists of b&b hotels with vacancies but more important u can click the description and find out what they offer. however it wont be cheap and they are usually min 2 nights at the weekend. as for small dimly lit restaurants struggling a bit here but some of the places in the lanes may suit yr requirements. this time of year of course brighton is full of foreign students and visitors its very cosmopolitan so definitely not quiet romantic or cheap.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
