Should i get circumcised?

Question

Ok , should i or should i not?
people say it decreases the chances of getting a STD(sexually transmited desease)I know it hurts quite abit.
i also think its cleaner

what do you think i should do?

yes get curcimsized i am and its better. it looks better too, i t doent hurt too bad. but since your 14 it might hurt

I don't know about the STD part but it would probably look better. If you're thinking about what girls will think about it.. then ya probably. Un-cut is weird to a lot of girls.

the STD thing is a myth of sorts; it's more of a statistical thing. There is a REDUCED chance of contracting HIV if cut, but it's not that big a spread between cut and uncut.

yes it will hurt.

For you, a circumcision would be mainly a cosmetic thing, like a nose job or boob job on a girl. I grew up uncut, and got plenty of sex. The girls either didn't know the difference or didn't care. I got cut as an adult in college.

just remember, once cut, you can't go back.

you shouldve gotton circumsized when you were a baby man
but you should probably do it, because of the STDs and all that. and yes, it will probably hurt
but if you like what god has given you, then by all means, keep it. it'll do good work with the ladies ;)

Circumcision will NOT protect you against STDs. Wear a condom and you don't have to worry about that.

It's your choice, really. But if I were you I wouldn't get it done. You're only 14 after all -- you don't want to make a hasty decision that you could regret in the future. I'd wait a few more years before thinking about this again. Not to mention, a circumcision reduces sensitivity (the foreskin keeps the glans (head) of the penis sensitive by protecting it against chaffing, and the foreskin itself contains 20,000 very pleasurable nerves). Thousands of men would do anything to have foreskin and would be quite jealous of you for being intact...keep your working parts. If it's not broken don't fix it.

If you are asking this question then no.
If you have to ask people what you want then you obviously don't know if it's a good idea and if you don't know if it's a good idea then you shouldn't be going it otherwise you will regret the choice.

You are too young to understand what this procedure does. It takes away a TON of sensitivity, and it won't protect you from STD's, condoms do that not circumcision. Also some of the studies showing the it MIGHT reduce your chances say that it only does so for so long then after a while your chances go back to normal (a lot of the HIV studies have said that)

I think you should wait untill you are an adult and possibly have had sex with your foreskin.
I know this is just my opinion but I have restored my foreskin and I would rather eat shards of glass through my nose than be circumcised again. The sex is a million times bettter with a foreskin

I wouldn't do it. The std argument is false as well at the cleanliness argument. Just take personal responsibility and use a condom and good hygiene. I know some folks will say there are stats that point to why you should do it, but remember man - that not all stats are really true. Some are twisted to fit an agenda even tho an "expert" may say they are legit, it doesn't mean its the case. I was cut as a baby. I never had a choice. Enjoy what you've got man.
