Rhodes - Information please?

Question

Has anyone been recently? Can anyone recommend a 3 or 4 star hotel half board or B&B. Is it reasonable to eat out. Is it good shopping ie- ladies clothes as most of ours in the Uk are made in Turkey and thats not far away.Also what is the names of their tobacco shops and allowance on cigarettes also rough price of 200 superkings.
How safe is it for walking out at night for women and children?

i have just returned from 2 weeks in rhodes stayed at lardos bit quiet next to pefkos which i s fab v safe lovely ppl. i stayed in self catering BIG MISTAKE! v costly for food cost even more to buy from shop[ and make your own! i would recommend all inclusive for a family, clothes shops ok but priceyagain try lindos lots shops designer goods but be preopared to spend a few bob! tobacco cheap, 28 euros for 20 superkings. happy holidaying!!

rhodes is lovely. the food is excellent. i dont know about clothes shops or ciggy shops but i do know its very safe for anyone. enjoy.
