Holiday Prices: Croatia? Help?

Ok, so we want to go to Croatia on holiday.

8.53 Kunas = £1 at the minute.

How much would an average 3 course meal cost?
How much would a soft drink cost?
How much would a 3 STAR hotel cost for 4 people, 2 adults, 2 children for 2 WEEKS?

Have you got any tips on where to go?
We would like nice beaches and clear water :D?
We would like to relax, but also do a little site seeing too!

Aaaahh...small county for best summer ever. Man i don't wont to brag..but u will not regret visting Croatia...I cannot tell u much about prices, but we are pretty cheap if u compare us with other Eu countries like Greece or Italy

3 stars hotels are fine, but you could stay in 4 stars pretty cheap...you should have considered booking earlier in the summer..you could get more for same price...

Momently its 30*C outside...& its gettin hotter...you shouldnt be worried about weather...during july and august the temperature dosent fall below that...usually its hot as hell,
beaches & sea are the best

I recomend most places by sea in Istria...maybe Porec, Rovinj, Opatija...if u prefer islands, and there are 1000 of them go to Brac or Hvar, Dubrovnik maybe(historical city)...if u like to party then Pag...there is olso plenty to see especially about historics, monuments....but we also have some of the most beautifull national parks i have ever seen (Plitvicka jezera, Krka, Brijuni)....

sorry i could get you more info about prices, theh vary from place to place....try some googling, or call agencies...

just got back from Croatia, stayed on a little island called Korcula which I believe is slghtly more expensive that the rest of Croatia.
A soft drink is around 15 kuna
We didn't have any 3 course meals but for two people a 2 course meal with wine came to around 140kuna
We stayed in a 3*hotel and for that half borad for a week with flights and transfers it cost £425 each which wasn't too bad.

As I say we were in Krocula - there isn;t all that much to do and there are no beaches, however you can sunbathe on the rocks and the sea is as blue and clear as I have ever seen.

I can't say whether other places have beaches but if you rent a sun longer or take extra padding its not that uncomfortable.

Where we stayed it was around 3 hours to get to Dubrovnick.

    Have fun

I have to agree, I admit that the last time I was in Croatia was during the troubles, but even then you could see through all that and admire the people and country side. My opinion,,, dont worry about prices etc, just go visit, you wont regret it !!
