A cheap place to stay in swansea?

Question

Does anyone know of a cheap place to stay in swansea? I want to visit some friends for a few days but cant afford an expensive hotel. If some one could suggest something that would be great, camping or a hotel. thanks :)

Travelodge but depends which bit of Swansea you are visiting! Or youth hostels nearby. Ring tourist info.

There is a place in clydach called the village tavern. It's not a hotel its a pub but a bed n breakfast on top of it. They close at 12 midnight but when your upstairs you can't hear nothing underneath. My brother sometimes stays to look after it for the owner when he goes to ireland to visit his family. It's not scruffy or nothing, its a nice place and the local people are nice. You don't have to keep walking through the pub to get out because there is a separate door that leads to the back of the pub to get out into the car park.

There is a new Ibis Hotel in Swansea. They are like Travelodges but are french owned. Check their website:
