How much would it be for 3 people to go to japan?

I wanna go to japan tell me how muhch flights,regular food,and a ryokan or hotel would be plus alittle sightseeing

It really depends on the time and length of travel, so this is a sliding scale..not definite.
Flight: $700-1000/per person (travel agency vs. expedia)
Food: Depends on your budget, $8 a day if you wanna hold out, or $30-40 a day if you dont want to eat cheap
Hotel: $80/night (Weekly Mansion Asakasa)
Sightseeing: Variable $0-$30

Depends were you travelling from but for the UK:
Economy flights - £500-650 each
basic hotel - £40-70 each
food - £15-30 each per day

Travel cost varies but local trains around tokyo for instance are cheap, £1-2 per journey all over tokyo. Travelling between cities on shinkansen (bullet) trains is quiet expensive tho.
