Dublin airport to croke park?

Question

I am watching U2 at croke park and wont be arriving at dublin airport 16.30, then I have to check in at premier inn and attempt to get to croke park for 18.30. Do you think this is possible? If so which mode of transport is best bus or taxi.... I was not sure if they usually close roads when a gig is on.

Yes, you'll be grand! You'll be on the north side of the city and surburbs and it isn't that big . Swords is almost walking distance from the airport ,if you had time that is.
Taxi would the most reliable if you're unfamiliar with the city, although it's almost a 10-15 minute straight run from Swords to the drop off point .

There probably will be road closures, but don't worry about it too much, U2 won't be on stage til after 8.30, so you have plenty of time.Get a taxi, anything else is too much hassle.
