Boston no smoking in hotels?

Hi does anybody know how far this ban extends to? for example could i book out of the city & escape the ban?

Austin you pratt! smoking makes me an alcoholic??? duh!!!! i think to be an alcoholic you need to consume excess alcohol maybe!!?? not cigarettes

you seriously have too much time on your hands, get a life!! whilst i live my shortened from smoking one!!!!! & whilst your at it get off your soap box!

The outright ban is only in Boston. Some (but not all) hotels in Cambridge and Brookline are also smoke-free. Both cities are on the Subway and bus system, so you should be able to find a nice hotel there and still be within a few stops of everything in Boston.
