How much spending money for Florida will I need?

I'm going to Florida on June 11th (3 weeks away) and I'm taking my younger sister. There is just me and my 14 yr old sister going. All disney theme park tickets have been bought and so has my airport transfers. I'm staying at the Quality Inn Plaza on International Drive. I have no intentions of going out shopping, I can't stand shopping! All my spending money will be on food, drinks throughout the day (a few beers etc) and a trip to Daytona beach. I've managed to save £1,500 spending cash. I also have a credit card with 9 months free interest with a credit limit of £1,500 too.

How much will I need? Is this enough?

I stayed at this hotel in feb with my b/f. We had a rental car which saved alot!! The hotel has a cute lil bar with a one man live band on certain hours of the nite and beers werent too pricey!! If you dont have a rental car try and get one of the bus companies to take you down to Disney as it will cost much less than a cab!! Overall we wea in florida for 6 nites 7 days and only spent about $900.....we didnt buy any gifts b/c we have been there so many times so that cut costs!! Also if you want to go to the beach cocao or coco not sure how to spell it is closer than daytona and it is very nice.......we took a drive there and only took about 40 mins from the hotel.......we also had one nites dinner paid for at Jimmy Buffets it was soooo good and lots of fun to eat at live music inside and outside area. Expedia.com has a prepaid dinner you can purchase which is only like $30.00 for two dinners and salads at jummy buffetts also they have one for planet hollywood............i would look into it -it is much cheaper to buy it on expedia and also you get to cut the line and get seated right away which is a huge plus!! Close to the hotel is an ihop dennys sonic mcdonalds all cheapy places to eat. You will prob need about $100 a day if you eat on the cheap. You will prob need at least $1,400.

Everything that you have, its great but you can spend a fortune, dont wonna put you off but its really expensive for Joe schmo, like us... Have a great time and god bless.

We went to stay there for 14 days (just me and my partner), and we kept it to spending approx £80 per day when going round the parks and for food etc so you should have more than enough there chick :-) But I would advise you to take a bit more if your planning on going to the beach i.e. £150 to make sure you cover your costs.

$60/day will be sufficent...you saved enough and with you using your credit card just in case, you will be fine...have a great trip!

I think that should be plenty. You can save a littlle here and there. Like bringing bottled water with you to the parks. Hope you have a good time.
