What are your views on Protaras, Cyprus?

I'm staying in the Capo Bay Hotel in July and I was wondering what everyone thought of the area of Protaras or if you have stayed in the same hotel it would be great to hear your reviews. Thanks all!!

aint stayed there but lived near by. its a nice hotel, fig tree bay beach is nice but gets really busy, konnos bay up the road is an AMAZING beach. nightlife is ok, rockerfellas and the bells are good for entertainment, and the drag bar sphinx. boogies nightclub is a bit rubbish though

Hi, I have never stayed in Capo Bay but it looks a lovely hotel, it's right on the beach, and in the heart of Protaras so not far to walk for shops, nightlife i just love Protaras. I stay in Pernera which is a part of Protaras but a little further away i am staying in Golden Coast Hotel this year in August, i usually stay in Crystal Springs but no UK tour operator is doing that hotel this year, we could have gone through the hotel but it was going to work out expensive. Have you googled your hotel they will have a website. If you would like any more info you can email me.

Protaras is great, and The Capo Bay is in a great position! Right on the beach, with all the shops bars and restaurants ( try The Olympus, Il Basilica, Cafe Parko, and Island Affair) all within easy walking distance......and the beaches along there are great too. As previously mentioned, its worth taking a short trip along the coast to Konnos Bay....a lovely little sheltered cove, less commercialised than most of the beaches.

I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time.......warming up nicely here now too!
I live in Xylofagou, just outside Agia Napa!
