Africa or Australia...Which one first?

Question

I'm leaving college this year, and am planning on visiting Australia, Africa & Rwanda as well as some other places that I'm interested in eventually. At the moment though, I'm trying to decide on the first place I should head off to, this will be the first time I've traveled solo & would like to hear your thoughts :) I'd prefer it if you could pick between Africa or Australia, but if you must then feel free to mention other places :) Xx

Australia is a very interesting place, there is a lot to see.
The people I met there was nice, I enjoyed my time in Australia - much because I could speak the language.
English will do anywhere in Australia, unlike in Africa.
When you go somewhere and don't speak the language you easy get misunderstood etc.

Definitely Australia.
You could combine it with stop-overs in various places en route.
I've friends and family in Oz, NZ and San Francisco, so on my way to and back, I've also done Singapore, LA, Bali, Dubai, Fiji, Pattaya and Bangkok.
I've worked in South Africa - Cape Town is nice, but I don't like Jo'burg.

i would definitely say north africa like tunisia, egypt or morocco but a lot of my friends say that south east asia is good (but not thailand right now!)
