Twitchy eye!What's causing it?

Question

Just under my right eye keeps on twitching.
It did it nearly all day yesterday, and all afternoon today. Its very irritating, what can i do to stop it, and why is it twitching!?

I get that sometimes too, it usually means im tired or stressed

I was really stressed out and angry about something for awhile. When I started feeling that way the eye twitch started. When I got over it, it went away. I'm not an expert but I think stress causes it sometimes.

What can cause it is,

- Corneal irritation or injury
- Stress
- Lack of sleep
- Fatigue
- Prolonged staring or eye strain
- Neurological disorders
- Possibly Hereditary

I have been having the same problem, but I think it is just a nerve in the muscle of the upper lid. I think it will go away by itself. I think mine was from lack of sleep. If yours continue see your eye doctor!
