Is the new Nokia 5800 mobile any good?

Im getting a new phone, probably tommorow and i have been looking at the new Nokia 5800 mobile. I have had very mixed comments on it, and was wondering if anyone had it and could tell me about it. What sorts of applications has it got and can you put films onto the phone from your own dvds?

Nokia's venture into touchscreen phones has been a huge success so far with this device. I owned one before and really liked it, though I expected a bit more from the camera.

It won't have applications like the iPhone, but there is a huge collection of apps available. Check the forum posted in the link below.

Yes, you can rip your DVD's to play them back on the phone and the screen makes them look great. You can also hook up the supplied TV-out cable to watch those same movies on your TV through the phone as well.

my friend got that, and i got tocco ultra, we looked at each others phones and we personally agree that the tocco is better!

I love the Nokia 5800, it's design and the software is very trendy to look at, its comes with a little type guitar puck to use as a sylus which is connected to the phone, which adds uniqueness to the phone.

The phone is a music phone and you can see that by looking at it, you can tell its a music phone.

It has a 3MP camera and a included a 8GB memory card in the box so you can hold a lot of music.
