Parking in Greenwich London HELP please!!!?

Question

On the 26th of April im going to London my hotel is in Greenwich its called The Express, by Holiday Inn. However the London marathon means the road is closed, so i cant get to the hotel untill 2pm, so where else can i park please??

The Express Greenwich? Is that the one just off the A102?
After a quick check, I'm afraid the three NCP carparks around the Greenwich area are all going to be unavailable because of road closures on the Sunday.

You could alternatively try street parking until the roads reopen.
Also remember that the roads are not closed all day, they only stop traffic for a period of time to allow the marathon runners through. Once the large crowd of people has disappeared, and a quick cleanup has been undertaken, the road will reopen.

The good news is, the Marathon starts in Greenwich Park, so the A102 will be one of the first roads to reopen. Also note that the Marathon starts at 9am, and usually hotels don't allow you into your room until 2 anyway, so you don't actually need to get to the hotel that quickly.

If you don't get any response from someone who knows, try phoning the Hotel - they must have contingency plans for guests - or the AA can be very helpful
