Adventure/Watersports Holiday in Europe?

Question

Im having trouble finding affordable watersports holidays in europe at about june. By affordable i mean i don't really want to spend more than £600 including transport, hotel, activities, food. I like the look of croatia or south France. So if anyone has any ideas that would be great.

I reckon your looking at around £ 1000 in europe, I have been looking for myself and also struggled.

I would look at south west wales as they have lots of water activities and a few youth hostels which will be cheap. Wet suits are very effective at keeping out the cold (and will be included in the cost of activities) and the sea around Wales in June will be around 16 centigrade.

www.yha.org.uk is the youth hostel link, you don't need to be a member or in your youth. If you ring them chances are they will know local companies that can offer activies. If you stay they may be able to help with bookings and offer discounts.

I reckon 1 activity a day at 50 notes plus 20 per night accomodation (youth hostel) plus 30 per day food and drink and therefore 5 days at 500 pound plus 100 pound for travel is just about doable.

If your travelling alone you will be able to tag on to other groups for the day activities thats the norm and not unusual. You would also get talking to lots of people at the youth hostel so you wouldn't really be alone as such. If your travelling with mates etc then pre booking activities is more important.
