You don't bake - you ROAST - about 25 minutes per pound weight at gas Mark 3

Depending on what you are doing with the chicken & how thick you bake it for 40min at 350degrees.. make sure to check for complete whiteness through the densest part of the chicken. If it has any pink it is not fully cooked
