Anyone who has been to: Barcelo harrogate majestic hotel?

I've been asked to go there but I've heard it's haunted... if anyone has ever been there or knows about it -please let me know.

I stayed in the Majestic many many times as a child, but haven't been there for more than 10 years - it certainly wasn't part of the Barcelo chain last time I was there (I think it used to be Forte).

I recall it as huge, with lots of thickly carpeted corridors. The rooms weren't luxurious, but they were perfectly acceptable. The common areas showed some wear and tear. I would describe it as a 'fading glory' type of place.

I don't believe in ghosts, and certainly never encountered any hauntings, or heard of anyone who did.
