San diego in march any tips?

can any one reccomend a good 3 star hotel & any tips for a first time visit coming from england & staying for 4 nights

OK I live in San Diego and I love it soooo much.
If your coming from england and want a great time, I suggest you go to the Covette Diner located in Hillcrest. Go at night cause it is very lively and exciting place and its a 1950's diner. GREAT FOOD and EXCELLENT STAFF!!!

Also hit the beach, You have to. San Diego has beautiful beaches.

Theres also Disney land, Lego land, Sea world, Universal Studios, Knotts berry farm, 6 flags, etc.

I dont know any hotels cause i live here but I hope you enjoy your stay!

Stay at the historic Hotel Del Coronado! It's beautiful and has a wonderful view of the San Diego skyline (if money is no object).

Parts of Billy Wilder's film "Some Like it Hot" was filmed there.

EDIT: Knott's Berry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountain, and Disneyland are all in Anaheim, CA, which is 90 min. north of San Diego.

You can spend a full 2 days in Balboa Park. The zoo is there (full day) as well as dozens of museums and botanical garden. The have a Passport to Balboa Park that includes admissions to the Zoo and 13 museums. BTW if you visit on the 1st Tuesday of the month, some of the major museums have free admission.

If your a film buff, here's a bit of trivia. The exteriors of the buildings in the park were used in "Citizen Kane" to represent Xanadu in the news real footage at the beginning of the movie.

The Hyatt is right in the middle of Mission Bay. Great views.
