i was wondering if anyone knows any decent hotels in houston as me and my friend are planing to go there next april

Yep. Need to know price and part of town you want to be in.

Otherwise, if you just want to know which are the BEST hotels (most interesting, hippest, most character), here's a few that might not show up if you just use the mediocre hotel booking engines on the web...

I stayed at the Hotel Derek which is a 4 star super nice hotel with freaking granite walls! its right on the other side of 59 from the Galleria which is a must go! The Galleria is a huge 3 story mega mall with every designer brand you can think of! YOu can also stay at the Westin inside the Galleria which is where i want to stay the next time i go to houston.

Houston is ENORMOUS, honey. First you need to know what you want to do in Houston, pinpoint their locations on a map, then look for a hotel accordingly. Then head for www.travelocity.com or www.expedia.com and use their search engines. You don't necessarily need to book through those sites, but they will give you an idea what's available (pay attention to the traveler's reviews!)

Check the best western in sugarland tx. There number is 281 232 0680. Brand new clean hotel with full breakfast they can hook u up for $79.99 plus tax its really worth it. Ask for Mike or Nick hell help you
