Does anyone know the best or nicest hotel near the ferry port at Ouistrenham/Caen?

Hello, our last night of our road trip through France is before the 8am ferry from Caen port. I am finding it really difficult to find a nice looking hotel, plus even the ones that advertise they are near seem to be 25 minutes drive away so I am wondering if we may as well stay in a different town/village if it is a similar distance.

Virtually outside the exit to the ferry terminal is the Bouche de Argent hotel. It serves very good seafood and has several rooms over the restaurant. Otherwise there is the Hotel Mercurie but I have never stayed there so I cannot comment.

Hello, I am afraid there is not that much to choose from. You are better being 25 minutes away in Caen where the quality is slightly better and there is more choice. 25 mins away is fine and the queues are never that long for the ferry.
