Alexandria..hotels and what to doooo?

Question

Hi i want to go to Alexandria in july and also visit Cairo. What could i go see in alexandria, i know there is the castle and the library, is there any other places i could visit? I heard about Dream Park which i want to visit but is that in Cairo?
Also, what hotels would you recommend to stay at in Alex, im thinking about just a *** star hotel.

First, Lets fix the hotel issue.
You want a 3 stars hotels, I recommend to look at the sea so i give you 3 hotels.

Hi!

Depending on what you're interested in, I would definitely recommend Fort Qait Bey (which I think is the castle you're referring to), the Roman amphitheater, or any of the ruins, and the museums in Alex. When I was there about a year ago, one was closed for renovations, in English I think its called the Greek museum or Greco-Roman museum. The National Museum is really very nice though. Also, Alexandria is a great place to just walk around, especially by the shoreline. I don't know of any hotels though, since I came from Cairo and didn't need to stay....
