How do I remove my aluminium seat pin which is seized into the seat tube of my steel bicycle frame?

I installed the seat pin using copper grease to avoid this problem. I have tried turning it with a wrench, but was afraid of damaging the frame.

There is an easier way, and faster too.

Remove the binder bolt from the frame, then drip some ammonia (REAL ammonia, not cleaner with ammonia in it) around the frame/seatpin area. Continue to drip in ammonia until it is fully saturated. Wait about an hour.

Keep the saddle mounted on the seatpin and use IT to twist the seatpin out rather than a wrench.

Once the seatpin is out make sure to wipe the ammonia from the frame and seatpin. When reinstalling use LITHIUM grease inside the frame rather than copper grease on the seatpin.

Try some WD40 allow to penetrate for 1/2 hour then tap the frame in the area with a soft mallet or plastic screwdriver handle twisting the seat as you proceed.
After it has released smear some PTFE grease onto the stem and then wipe it of this should prevent a recurrence.

If you have mounting bolts for a water bottle cage in the seat tube, remove one, turn the bike upside down, spray penetrating oil into the hole and leave overnight. This may also help free up the seatpost along with all the other useful suggestions given.

It's seized because of the cold weather and the fact that aluminium and steel expand and contract at different rates. Try warming it up with a hairdrier. If that doesn't work, remove anything flammable and use a blowlamp.

You may have to take it to your bike store where they will need to heat the frame to remove the seat pin. I don't know of another way I'm sorry.
