Accomodation In Makkah?

hi
i am looking for suitable accomodation in Makkah (Mecca).
my duration there will be 24 months
i have been given an allowance of 7000SAR

will this be enough?

Secondly has anyone good any good ideas where i should start looking for good accommodation hotels apartments etc??

You could check the Hilton Makkah. It's a 3 star but pretty good for that. Rates are about 1,500 SAR per night I think, although with 7000 SAR you may like to live it up a little. You can only stay in Makkah if you're Muslim. If not, I used the Ramada in Jeddah (Lebanon Street, I think) and took a taxi to Makkah from there (about an hour's drive).

Try looking on Tripadvisor.com to get more hotels and reviews.

but my allowance is onlt 7000 pm and if the prices are 1500 p er night i think im in trouble
thanks anay ways.

by the way i will be working there in Maakah, if iwas to stay in jeddah what would the traffic be like at rushour and what is the travell time?
