Cheap Flights To Kazakhstan?

Been speaking to a girl for ages and met her on a dating site and not a marriage site. Also she has a better job than me as i just have a minimum wage job lol so i doubt she is after my money before any of you claim it. Anyway have decided Id like to go and visit next year and id only need a flight not a hotel as i would stay with her. However been looking at prices and they are like around £700! That's expensive. Am from Aberdeen Scotland and she stays in a place called Karaganda. If anybody knows whats the cheapest way and also when is the cheapest time to travel can you let me know? Thanks

I am from Kazakhstan,

First of all, let's decide what travel company you want to use. There are no flights from Aberdeen to Karaganda without landing, thus you will have to chose from the list.

1.KLM
2.Lufthansa
3.Air Astana
4.Transaero
5.British Airways
6.Other

I recommend using one of this airlines as they are relatively cheap, and most of the time require one stop. What I ad

The cheapest one will be to buy a train or drive to London first and then fly from there. Otherwise it will cost around 1500 quid. So this is a website that shows the schedule of Transaero http://www.transaero.ru/documents/un_sch…

I searched for leaving London on February 1 via Moscow, and returning to London on 16 February via Moscow, and I got around 510 quid. That is a quite cheap, or you can check Air Astana, now stop direct flight about 624 pounds, or at last check British Airways or KLM, but I can guarantee that it will cost around 1200-1400$ unless you get a good deal. I really advice you to fly from London, as you will have to make many stops if you fly from Aberdeen and the price will be higher.

Another route is to fly to Almaty (another city in Kazakhstan), and then take a train to Karaganda, but the train ride will be pretty long about a day, and it is around 200$, so I do not recommend it.

Hope this helps!

To answer your question, flights will cost a tiny fortune as not many brits really go there in comparison to spain or america and most travel agents would expect most of their customers flying to (forgive my spelling) kazakstahn would be on buisness or some form of holiday so a holiday package is the obvious thing to sell. My opinion if wanted is let this girl come to you if she has a better job, this will also show you that her getting a visa without an englishmans help may prove hard. Iv heard storys where these educated wealthy forieghners use average brits like us to get here then once here you get dumped and in the long run wind paying for allsorts (assuming youd be willing to sponsor her) since you have nothing to lose and she has a good lifestyle there maybe suggest if things work out, you move there say it would be easier. She probably has more than one brit on the hop thats why shes letting you go to her this time so like i say suggest she comes here initially then suggest you move there, play her at her own game you will get dumped.
