How much spending money for America?

Hiya

I'm off to America for a 3-4 week holiday, staying with Family in LA then on to San Francisco then New York! Going to have flights and hotels paid for before hand and have about £2000 spending money, do you think this is enough?

We're also thinking to do a 2day 1 night tour of Las Vegas and teh Grand Canyon, has anyone done this if so is it any good?

Plan on an average of £75-100 per day. You should be OK. Two days and 1 night is not really long enough to do both Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon right. I would recommend a minimum of 3-4 days to really get the most out of these two destinations.

yep plenty cos it is cheap to eat out in america allow yourself £500.00 pounds per week no more and you will be ok

that should be enough, but take a credit card with you for backup, and if you visit vegas enjoy the sights, shows and casinos but don't gamble because you'll find it's not enough, enjoy it's a great country to visit with lots to do and see
