Round the world travelling. Please help with budget?

Question

I am planning on going travelling with 2 others sometime next year but need help figuring out how much ill need. So far we've planned on going to:

New Zealand- 4 weeks
Australia- 1 week
Thailand- 1 week
New York- 2 weeks
Hawaii- 1 week
Fiji- 1 week

Can anyone give me a rough idea to how much we would need in each country in terms of accommodation, living expenses etc? We don't really want to stay in hostels, just 2-3* hotels, and i don't know where to start when researching how much we have to save. PLEASE HELP....

I'd say around 3 - 4 thousand.

ur plan is soo great.. u gna have a wonderful time m sure..
m sorry i dont know hw much that's gna cost but m sure it's gna be quite a pocket - burning amount ..gna be quite a lot many grants.

u're staying too long so living charges r going to be high.
