Why did they change the name of Cinnamon Grahams?

Curiously Cinnamon sounds stupid. I want Cinnamon Grahams back.

The people who do this kind of thing are cereal renamers and there should be a law against it.

According to the marketing brief I found, the idea was to build the Curiously Cinnamon brand to encourage awareness and trial of the product. "Although 40 per cent of its consumption is currently within the children’s market we are looking to widen its appeal via those media channels offering a broader audience."

Tagline for consumers:
"Curiously Cinnamon is a taste experience unlike any other breakfast cereal; they’re curiously different!"

So they're trying to reach a new audience and boost sales.
