Where can I buy a short slip to go under a dress?

Question

Hi, going to a black tie ball in a few weeks, have a gorgeous dress but can't find a short slip to wear under it? Dress is few inches above my knee so perhaps a 15 or 18" slip? No luck with the usual marks and spencers....
Any suggestions? Thanks! :)

Topshop just got some in today, in a few different colours. Check the lingerie section under 'new in'.

you can find slips at JC Penny's, Sears and Dillard's. All slips are adjustable( by shoulder strap). Also the half slips can be hemmed. or buy in petite size for the short lengths.

If you want a high-quality (but expensive) slip to wear under your dress, try herroom.com. I bought several slips from them and have yet to be disappointed. I particularly like the Farr West slips - they are very pretty! I wear full slips under all my dresses and half (petti) slips under almost all my skirts.
