It is an oil called sebum that causes spots, more likely when you're young. It doesn't have much to do with how clean you're face is, some people just produce more than others. You can go to your GP who can give you some pills to slow down the production of oil & get rid of them. But trust me on the moisturiser front, the younger you start using it, the younger you'll look when you get older :)

One of the major signs of puberty is breaking into spots.

Pimples and acne is a form of bacteria which forms on your skin. However, many people recover from it because their bodies can combat it.

Sometimes, some people's bodies cant (very normal) and therefore the acne develops into a full fledge infection in the sense that one keeps breaking into spots for years.

if you've had them for over a year and you're in bad shape, then go to a dermatologist. He will recommend (if he feels that you need it) some vitamin A treatment.

Never use soap on your face! That is probably why you getting spots, because the soap is not soft enough for your skin. Try and use Simple facial cleansing lotion, followed by Simple toner and finally Simple moisturiser to give it a more effective result ( Though if you really don't need the moisturiser, you don't have to!) I use these products once, everyday and I hardly ever get spots. You get get these products from Boots, Superdrug etc.

    I hope this helps!

Well its down to you'r diet then.you must eat alot of fatty food, butter, chips fried things, drink more water as much as you can and cleans you're face and take you'r make-up off properly also invest in buying a face mask every once in a while, every month or so,and get one especially for oily skin.and a cleansing one to clean out you pores, try them, and foudation causes spots to..so give you're skin a break!
