I am staying at the Brighton Seafront Travelodge?

Question

.. which is on West Street. Heading there for a week of partying!

Can anyone tell me where the best bars are nearby and also directions to the gay village? And any other tips would be great!

Stay away from West Street, I'd say! It's a busy, vom-splattered part of town at the weekend. If it's gay bars you're after, just head along the sea front opposite the pier and you've got R Bar, Charles Street, Amsterdam and Legends all along Marine Parade, then Ghetto and Queens Arms off St James Street. If you like the ladeeeez, it's also worth heading up to Eastern Road and the PV at The Jurys Out opposite the law courts. Then get a cab back to the hotel front door ;-) Enjoy!
