Need to find a cheap hotel in Southampton from 5/11/08-09/11/08 please help?

I would prefer for it to be within walking distance to the town centre but if not that's ok. Any help would be great

The Ibis and the Etap are the two cheapest hotels in the centre of Southampton. They are both part of the same chain (Accor Hotels).

They are on the same site as the Novohotel if you want something a bit classier. See the links below for contact and booking information.

These hotels are 5 minutes walk from Southampton Central railway station, 5 minutes from the National Coach station and less than 10 minutes from the West Quay main shopping centre.
The Civic Centre (Town Hall) is opposite the BBC studio about 10 minutes from the hotels.
Ten minutes walk takes you to the Red Funnel ferry terminal for the Isle of Wight and also to Kuti's Thai restaurant (if you're interested).

Definitely choose the Etap Hotel in Southampton. Walking distance to town centre and close to restaurants, bars, clubs, cinema. £32 per night per room. I know a few friends who have stayed there a few times and say its spot on.
