Has anyone been to Kendal, Killington Lake ?

im looking to get away for a few days , staing at a premier inn hotel and ive found there is one here , anyone know what the area is like im looking for a quiet place to get away and relax for a few days x

The Premier Inn at Kendal, Killington Lake is located in the motorway services area on the M6 Southbound between juncions 37 and 36. It is about 5 miles from Kendal.

Having stopped at the services there more times than I care to remember, I wouldn't recommend it as a particularly relaxing place to stay...

kendal thats lake district lovely up there
good for realaxing why not lake windermere then you got a village there too
