Holidays..Dublin.....?

Question

hello me and my friends are planning a trip to dublin next year and we have sorted out the flights but cannot find a nice cheap hotel to stay in, in Dublin central can you help ?

Jury's Inn group lets up to four people sleep in a room so that can make them cheaper. Parnell St is the best one:

You could just skip hotels altogether and find a cheap and cheerful Bed & Breakfast:

Most just give you a key and let you get on with it. Thay can be a bit further from the city centre but the price difference can be huge.

Otherwise, hostels may be your best bet:

There are no cheap hotels in dublin

No cheap bars or restaurants the place is the second biggest ripoff in ireland outside donegal.

If you have to come to Ireland try Cork its cheaper great bars good food.

Don't go to Killarney either it's priced for Yankee Millionaires.

I stayed in a place called the Paramount hotel and it was lovely! we stayed there after a gig one night so that we didnt have to get the train back to Balbriggan and miss the end of the concert. We actually live in Dublin city centre. The paramount hotel was over in Temple Bar which is very central to pubs and shops which is what a girlie weekend is about right?!

You won't find a cheap hotel in Dublin city centre, dear. Try just outside the city centre, like Rathmines.

Dublin isn'e even reasonable! There are some hostels (Google them) and some Bed and Breakfasts in Temple Bar that won't bankrupt you (again google for them) - and good luck!

There are a few on Talbot Street that are reasonably priced. I've stayed at the Celts hotel and I think there is something along the lines of a Best Western/Comfort Inn/Quality Inn sort of hotel as well. Talbot's not the NICEST street in town, but the hotels are only a few blocks off of O'Connel Street, close to a lot of attractions. You could always stay in a hostel. There are some that are super friendly and depending on how many people are going you can always find 2/4 bed private rooms.

Jurys Inns do a room only basis and have hotels et Christchurch, Parnell Street and the Docks, which are all central. Family rooms sleep 4 or 6 people with basic comforts, showers etc.
