from buchanan galleries you have to go straight down on to argyle street and turn right until you come to a pizza hut then turn left . straight down over the bridge take the first right .straight down follow the bend in the road round then first right at traffic lights .straight down until you come to a restaurant called harry ramsdens and the travelodge is in the back of their car park. all in to walk would take about half an hour .to get a taxi would take about 5/Min's and would cost about £5/6.

    ac has the correct answer.

Ignore the reply from Caroline - it takes you seven miles out of your way.

It is walkable (and mainly downhill), but it is somewhat exposed over the Clyde. At this time of the year, you could get soaked.

Personally, I would come out of the Buchanan Galleries and walk down the hill to the taxi rank outside Queen Street station.

Please ignore the directions given by Caroline

She's given you directions to the town of Paisley

which is miles away from where you are going

Honestly, jump a taxi, it's not that far

It will take you over the River Clyde , it will turn right and just a few

yards down Paisley Road, you will find the Travel Lodge ,

right next to Harry Ramsdens and opposite The Quay,
which is a major entertainment area

I hope you enjoy your stay
