Can you buy fresh yeast from...?

1.Tesco Bakery
2.Sainsburys Bakery
3.Morrisons Bakery
4.Asda's Bakery

Oh, and, do you just ask for some fresh yeast? Or do you have to say like I want 15g fresh yeast (for example).
I have never bought fresh yeast before so like I don't know how...

And how much does it cost?

Tescos and Sainsbury bakery will certainly GIVE you fresh yeast for free. Just ask for it. I am not sure about Morrisons and Asda because we do not have them around here.

I would go into a little local bakers and ask them for how many ounces you want

I'm not sure about the supermarkets but a local bakery will sell you it and be able to give you advice on how much you need and what to do with it. If you have a recipe just ask them for the amount you need i.e. 15g.

i used to work for asda and if you ask they will give you fresh yeast for free
