What do you look for in a roommate?

I'm working on a little web project that allows people to find roommates. I'm not exactly sure of what kind of information to allow users to search by. The setup will be much like MySpace and Facebook in the sense that a user creates a profile about his or her self. After that they can either browser for rooms to rent, browse for roommates, or place an ad.

Back to the question at hand: what kind of qualities do you look for in a perspective roommate? Or, if you could interview every perspective roommate, what kind of questions would you ask?

If you can think of any other pergnent information, include that, too.

Honesty, references or some sort of way to check them out, easy to get on with, clean in their habits, likes animals, happy nature, has a job, stuff like that.
