If I were to win this week's £92 million Euromillions Jackpot, one thing I wouldn't buy would be...?
...a luxury car. I really can't see any point in buying a car worth more than about £25,000, even if one could afford it. I would buy a luxury home, employ a gardener and a housekeeper but those are real luxuries. A car is just a means of getting from A to B. I'd be quite happy with a Ford Focus or Mondeo and if I really wanted just a bit more comfort, I might stretch to a Volvo.
If you were to win this £92 million jackpot or an equivalent amount ($166 million), what would you NOT buy that some people probably would? And what would you buy to improve your life?
Additional Details
John S, I think you've rather missed the point. The question is about fantasy, not about seeking advice. Yes, if I won this vast sum I would invest enough to keep me wealthy for life. But I'd also enjoy a fair proportion and I just want to know what commonly coveted rich man's items they wouldn't want and which they would want.
In the Euromillions draw, the money is paid as a single lump sum. It is not subject to any tax and the winner is free to do with it as he or she pleases.
Enjoy the fantasy! I'm sure there's something you'd love to have and something else that others would like but wouldn't appeal to you.
