I am very upset because of a horrid offensive website?

where can i report it? it has offended me alot, its full of racism and there is no excuse for racism its disgusting. Please people dont say that this is the world wid web people can do as they please, ill say it again there is NO EXCUSE for racism. Is there a special website for reporting these kind of websites. I tried contacting the racism website itself but they dont seem to have a contact, please help me, god bless you

You can't "report" a whole website to anyone. Websites are pretty much individually owned. There is no ownership or governance of the Internet. And the whole point of the internet remaining free and un-policed is that people CAN put up their own websites with whatever content they want. This is why there is internet porn.

If you don't like or agree with a website, then just don't go to that site. Nobody is forcing you.

There is a website to offend every religion, race, sexual orientation, political affiliation, and gender out there. Just don't visit it...problem solved.

Maybe you are hoping that there is some government control over such things but be careful what you wish for....your thoughts and beliefs may be next on the offensive list.

Unfortunately there are lots of race hate websites on the internet, hell even the KKK have a home page. Unfortunately these organisations hide behind freedom of speech and democracy and crass agencies like Combat 18 and the National Front, along with the plethora of white supremacists in the US and Europe. They can pretty much write what they want (most of it is hilarious with lots of biblical tracts and flaming torches, one website even has a guy writing for it called Dave Hitler!), but seriously I know the menace these people are to the global society we want to live in, and often it is good to read up on their beliefs so as you know your enemy. Lots of disadvantaged people read these websites and join these groups as they offer them some hope, the usual "you/ve got no job because all the imigrants have taken them" etc... If we can argue inteligence and rationale with people then they will hopefully see through the suits to the swasticas and the racial hatred. Nick Griffin (BNP) denies being a racist, yet he surrounds himself with thugs in suits, most of which have exisiting or previous affiliations with far right hate groups. He will justify his henchmen by saying if muslim clerics can spout racial hatred against UK in UK, then what he and his party are alededly doing is no different.

There are hundreds of millions of websites, and anyone with a computer can build one on their own machine. There is no authority to censor them - BUT:

You can find out who is hosting the site, and owns the servers it runs on. Then you can write to them and ask if the site breaks any of their terms of business.

Take the 'domain' part of the site name, and put it into the form on this page:

if its like a blog than you can report it. but if its a website, you cant do anything, unfortunately. im sorry that theres horrible things like that. its best just to ignore it. if its showing actual violence or crimes they committed, than you can report them.

OMG, you carnt stop racism whoever you are its something that just gos on throughout history. IF you where on the website just leave, if youre offended. The web was created so peaple can speak there mind and share infomation. No matter how much it is band theyil be another one, only real action is taken if its very seriouse and threatening. It would help if you posted the site details. Then we could give them a piece of all our mind.
