booked a stay at hotel qawra palace malta,upon readin the reviews im worried can any1 put my mind at rest

The Qawra Place Hotel is in the north of the Island. I haven;t stayed there myself, but I have used the restaurant and outdoor cafe and they are good and the service is fine. Across the street at the waters edge they have entertainment and a bar every night. Good fun. It's a five minute walk to the bus terminal and it is a very safe area to be in. Loads of shops and restaurants and bars. The only problem is that there are alot of students staying in the area this year. But if that doesn't put you off I would book it. I have stayed at the Canifor Hotel in the same area and that was very good. There is also the Clover Aparthotel that is cheap and very very good. Happy Adventure!

Dont worry about one or a few bad reviews, i recently visited mexico, and the hotel i stayed at was amazing, but the reviews on websites were bad, e.g they said there was no choice of food, there was 6 resturants there (all had a lot of choice on their own!) and that the site wasn't cleaned regularly, when all i saw over there was well over a thousand staff members cleaning the pathways, grass, doorways, bars , ect all morning, every morning. so dont listen to them, as they can be a complete load of bull :D
